Giuseppe’s Restaurant and Pizzeria, a beloved family-owned Italian eatery in the Coachella Valley, is preparing to open a second location, its website states. The new restaurant will be located at 9002 Shadow Ridge Road in Palm Desert, on the grounds of the prestigious Shadow Ridge Golf Club.
General manager Paul Goldstine will oversee operations at the establishment. He confirmed to What Now OC that the eatery is coming soon. Job postings online show the business is actively hiring for multiple positions, including hosts, bussers, food runners, cooks, dishwashers, bartenders, and servers.
Originally opened in 2008 in Palm Springs, Giuseppe’s is family-owned and operated. Owners Joe and Sue Funkey started the business inspired by their roots and love of Chicago-style pizza. They also serve appetizers, pasta dishes, seafood plates, and salads, and have a full bar.
The Palm Desert location will be a 7,000-square-foot space that overlooks the course. A world-class destination nestled against the Santa Rosa Mountains, the golf club has appeared on Golfweek Magazine’s Top 200 Resort Courses in the U.S. list six times over the past decade.
