Hilton Anaheim is undergoing a $100 million transformation in celebration of its 40th anniversary, and part of the renovations is the addition of Hansen’s Market, according to a tip sent to What Now OC. The grab-and-go cafe-style concept is one of the new amenities at the hotel — located at 777 W Convention Way.
Hansen’s Market will offer both grab-and-go options and made-to-order meals. Guests can choose from in-house-made sandwiches, salads, parfaits, fruit, charcuterie, half-bottles of wine, and local craft beers. The hotel’s executive pastry team will supply freshly baked goods and the market will feature a full espresso bar serving La Colombe coffee.
“The croissant you’re eating at breakfast was made that morning by someone we know,” Justin Underwood, Hilton Anaheim’s Director of Operations, told What Now OC. “There’s a story behind every item, from a muffin to a panini to the coffee we serve. That’s what makes Hansen’s Market stand out.”
While there will be no dedicated seating inside Hansen’s Market, guests can enjoy their meals throughout the hotel’s expansive lobby. Online ordering will also be available through QR codes and an app for added convenience.
Regarding construction, Underwood said it’s coming together quickly. The walls are up, the tiles and cabinets are in, and the equipment is on-site. The team expects to receive the keys to the space by the end of February and has already filled 70% of staff positions. LinkedIn posts show the hotel is hiring for a few more positions.
