A new Wetzel’s Pretzels is officially in the works at the upcoming Walmart Supercenter development in Eastvale. The Press-Enterprise reports that the chain is one of the concession options that will be available within the store, which is currently being built at 14100 Limonite Avenue.

It will be a 534-square-foot shop that offers convenient snacks and beverages to shoppers at the 170,995-square-foot retailer. The project scope includes full interior tenant construction—walls, ceilings, floors, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Site plans show an occupancy limit of four people.

The announcement marks another addition to the owner’s aggressive expansion across Southern California. Franchising records show Saihum Hossain with Baldwin Food Inc. operates over 40 Wetzel’s Pretzels, including nearby locations in  Montclair, Westminster, Rialto, and Cabazon. He also manages several in Northern California in big cities like San Jose, Sacramento, and Palo Alto.

This Walmart will be Eastvale’s first. The site has been under construction since last year, but it’s unclear when it will be completed and ready to welcome shoppers. Once open, the business will employ 300 people, offer order pick-up and delivery, and have 16 pumps for gas.
