A new Starbucks drive-thru is set to open sometime later this year to serve the Shandin Hills and Ridgeline communities of San Bernardino. The city website reveals that it is set to be built near the intersection of Kendall Drive & Shandin Hills Circle,

This location will be a 1,990-square-foot coffee shop with limited indoor seating and a drive-thru that can accommodate up to 14 vehicles. The store will operate from 4:30 AM to 11:00 PM, a plus for early birds and night owls, and will employ approximately 30 baristas.

Project plans show that the site will offer 13 parking spaces, including four designated for electric vehicles. It is currently a vacant parcel of land within an existing commercial center, which can also be used to accommodate overflow parking needs.

A Traffic Impact Analysis was conducted in January to assess the potential effects of the coming business on local traffic. The study found the new Starbucks is expected to generate approximately 531 net daily trips. After reviewing documents, the Planning Commission approved building plans in March.
