As construction progresses on the Shops at Jurupa Valley development, anticipation grows for Ono Hawaiian BBQ, one of the tenants expected there. Located on the northeast corner of Pyrite St. and Mission Blvd., the store is one of many coming retailers.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ, renowned for its authentic Hawaiian plate lunches and island specialties, was founded in 2002. All the meals at Ono are fresh and juicy, with scratch-made marinades and sauces and infused with the spirit of aloha.

The chain is a family-owned business that has grown significantly in recent years. Its locations are predominantly in Arizona but the business has also expanded into California and now has over 100 stores.

With the pending opening of The Shops, the retail and dining scene in Jurupa Valley will become more diversified. The shopping center is a 32-acre complex hosting 17 buildings, with a total of approximately 320,000 square feet.
