A new California location Izakaya Osen Fullerton appears to be in development, according to a recent filing with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

The application indicates plans for a restaurant venue at 1050 W Valencia Dr in Fullerton. While details on the opening timeline have not been disclosed, the restaurant’s site also indicates a location is slated to open soon at the address

Izakaya Osen is part of the Osen Group, a Japanese restaurant collective known for its sushi, kushiyaki, and contemporary Japanese dining experiences. The concept blends traditional izakaya-style service with fresh seafood and a menu designed around small plates meant for sharing.

Founded in California, the Osen Group operates multiple restaurants across the state, including Izakaya Osen and Omakase by Osen. According to the company, izakaya-style dining is central to its concept, combining casual, social drinking culture with a full food menu ranging from grilled skewers to seasonal dishes and hot pot preparations.

Izakaya Osen delivers a contemporary Japanese dining experience centered on approachable, shareable plates and a relaxed, social atmosphere where guests are encouraged to gather, share dishes, and enjoy the moment.

The beverage program complements the menu with a curated selection of cocktails, sake, beer, and more. The menu is currently under development, with additional details to be announced soon.
