Fast Casual restaurant chain Mendocino Farms will open new locations in Orange County in 2023.

The locations are in Aliso Viejo and San Juan Capistrano. They are both expected to open next summer, according to the chain’s website.

On Tuesday, the restaurant chain applied for an alcohol license for its Aliso Viejo location.

Currently there are more than 40 Mendocino Farms locations opened in the United States.

Earlier this year, the chain rebranded from being just a sandwich market. CEO Kevin Miles told Nation’s Restaurant News the branding reflects the expansion the restaurant has made to its salad offerings and grain bowls.

The first Mendocino Farms was opened in 2005 by Mario Del Pero and Ellen Chen.

Mendocino Farms did not immediately respond to requests for comments.
