Trader Joe’s is preparing to expand its Orange County footprint with a new store in Anaheim Hills. The grocery chain’s upcoming Store 295 is “coming soon,” marking the company’s first location in the Anaheim Hills community, according to The Orange County Register.

The new Trader Joe’s will occupy the former Big Lots space at 6336 E. Santa Ana Canyon Road in Anaheim Hills Village. While the company has not announced an opening date, the location is now listed as “Coming Soon” on Trader Joe’s website.

Known for its private label products, seasonal specialties, and curated grocery selection, Trader Joe’s operates more than 600 stores nationwide. The Anaheim Hills location will further strengthen the company’s presence in Orange County, offering local shoppers another destination for specialty groceries once the doors officially open.

“At Trader Joe’s in Anaheim Hills, we see ourselves as your neighborhood grocery store. Step inside, and you’ll find unconventional and interesting products in the Trader Joe’s label like Mandarin Orange Chicken and Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate, as well as everyday basics like milk, eggs, meat, bakery items, and fresh produce” the company states on the store’s webpage.

Trader Joe’s recently opened a second Costa Mesa store and expanded its Orange location into a larger former CVS space, while additional projects are underway elsewhere in the region.
