925 Group, the hospitality company behind Trellis 925, the wedding and event venue in Doctor Phillips, is preparing to launch its first brick-and-mortar restaurant. Called Reserve 925, it will open at 1801 Maitland Blvd, replacing Sam Snead’s Oak Grill and Tavern.
“It’s going to be a steak-anchored menu,” owner Bobby Huggins told What Now on Tuesday. “But it’s not going to be your traditional steakhouse. We’ll be offering a lot of different popular items that you might not otherwise find.”
Reserve 925 will open early next year in an upscale setting Huggins describes as “old-money.”
“Think dark mahogany wood. Think black leather. Think burgundy walls. Classic old-money with a little modern spin.”
In addition to its upscale modern steakhouse/sports bar atmosphere, with TVs making it a great place to enjoy the game in style, Reserve 925 will also feature a nightlife component. Starting around 10:30 or 11, expect to find live music and other performances, as valet services and a dress code make Reserve 925 even higher-class after dark.
“At that time, it’ll turn into a place to take your date or your significant other,” says Huggins. “It’s something that’s been lacking in this area, and so we’re pushing for the Orlando community to come join us. Some nights it’ll be entertainment, sometimes live music. It’ll change weekly.”
Adding Reserve 925 to its brand portfolio, 925 Group plans to keep expanding with more hospitality offerings, says Huggins.
“We’re building a brand, and this is just the beginning.”
