Located at 33202 CR-473 in Leesburg, Carmine’s Pizzeria has made a name for itself offering a menu of pizzas, calzones, salads, and more.
“I recently had the pleasure of trying a pizza from Carmine’s Pizzeria and wow, the flavors were simply amazing!” says one 5-star review on Google.
“I didn’t know it was going to taste this good!” says another. “Everything tastes so fresh. The crust has a perfect fold. Sorry all other pizza places in Leesburg and Mount Dora, but we are not buying pizza anywhere but here.”
Sadly for Carmine’s fans, the restaurant is currently marked “Temporarily Closed” on Google Maps—but there’s good news: a reopening is in the works.
“Carmine’s Pizzeria — We’re Getting Closer!” says a post published to the Carmine’s Facebook page last week. “We know everyone’s been asking the big question… ‘When are you opening?’ We don’t have an official opening date to announce just yet, but we’re getting closer every day and making sure everything is ready before we open our doors.
What Now reached out to co-owner Dawnelle Galindo on Thursday to ask about plans for the reopening. Galindo was not immediately available for comment, but stay tuned for more details as the Carmine’s Pizzeria reopening approaches!
In the meantime, you can keep up with Carmine’s Pizzeria news by following the restaurant on Facebook.
