Lake Nona West, the much-anticipated new development, is moving forward with its opening, a process that will see various retail outlets opening over the coming months.
What Now has already covered several of the openings planned for the new development, including the upcoming restaurant Cañonita, Nordstrom Rack, and the planned new Jetset Pilates Studio.
Another new tenant planned for Lake Nona West is Dick’s Sporting Goods, which will occupy 66,562 square feet, together with Golf Galaxy.
“With Lake Nona among Central Florida’s fastest-growing communities, demand for convenient, high-quality retail and dining has surged, a gap Lake Nona West is positioned to fill,” said Joanne Ling, Senior Director of Commercial Sales, Leasing and Development at Tavistock Development Company in a press release. “That demand has translated into strong leasing momentum, and we have been intentional in curating a tenant mix that meets that demand while reflecting how people live and work here, creating a place that feels like an extension of daily life for residents while welcoming visitors.”
“DICK’S is a leading omni-channel retailer and an iconic brand in sport and culture,” says the Dick’s website. “Its banners include DICK’S Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, Public Lands and Going Going Gone! in addition to the experiential retail concepts DICK’S House of Sport and Golf Galaxy Performance Center.”
Soon, a new Dick’s will make sporting gear of all kinds available at Lake Nona West!
