Founded with a mission to “foster learning, creativity, and conservation based on an underlying love for nature through play,” ToyTopia is a Northeast Florida-born educational toy shop with stores in Nocatee, St. Augustine, and Jacksonville Beach.

“Locally Owned, Locally Loved,” reads a description on the toy shop’s website. “Alexandre and Christina Pariente, along with their four children: Ocean, Wild, Disco, and Love, are the passionate family behind ToyTopia. Over four decades ago, Alexandre’s grandparents created Safari Ltd., the parent company of ToyTopia, from a dream and a deck of Rumi cards. We’re thrilled to build upon their legacy and extend the mission of sparking joy in children.”

Now, ToyTopia is preparing to make its entrée into the Central Florida market. This week, Bungalower reported that ToyTopia is planning a new outpost in Audubon Park, in the space formerly occupied by Oh Eco. It will open at 1805 E Winter Park Rd.

“ToyTopia is the retail arm of Safari Ltd., a Florida company best known for its animal figurines and educational toys,” says the Bungalower coverage. “The shop says it will focus on hands-on play, curated toys, and in-store activities for kids, families, and adults who cannot walk past a good mystery toy display.”

Brands with toys on offer at ToyTopia include Blue Orange Games (Blue Orange helps families unplug and bond over competitive fun. There’s a little something for everyone in this collection!), DJECO (The family owned DJECO is committed to creativity and passion. Their offerings range from sticker books to musical instruments!), and, of course, Safari Ltd (ToyTopia’s parent company, Safari Ltd, brings the beauty of the world right into your kiddo’s hand with lifelike animal figurines!).

An additional location is also planned for Dr. Phillips, opening at 7600 Dr. Phillips Blvd.
