A Philadelphia-born hot chicken joint is turning up the heat with another New Jersey location.

Asad’s Hot Chicken, founded by Asad Khan, is set to open at the Maintree Shopping Center, located at 301 S. Main Rd. in Vineland, a spokesperson confirmed to Whatnow Philadelphia.

The shop delivers bold flavors with a fresh take on the classic Nashville recipe. Diners can choose from a spice meter ranging from no spice to mild, hot, hot honey, extra hot and the fiery “Scorchin’.”

“At Asad’s Hot Chicken, we pride ourselves on serving only the highest quality, mouth watering fried chicken made with fresh, halal ingredients. Our secret blend of spices brings the perfect balance of heat and flavor, ensuring every bite leaves you craving more,” the shop’s website reads.

The menu highlights chicken sliders topped with pickles, coleslaw, cheese and Asad’s signature sauce, along with chicken tenders, wraps, loaded fries and mac and cheese.

Need a break from the heat? Milkshakes are available in vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, cookies and cream, peanut butter and Nutella magic, alongside refreshing fruit smoothies.

Asad’s Hot Chicken currently operates 20 locations across Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. The Vineland restaurant will join the chain’s New Jersey locations in North Brunswick, Burlington, Sicklerville and Cherry Hill.

An official opening date has not been announced. However, 42Freeway shared a photo of a large “Coming Soon” sign displayed on the exterior of the upcoming location.
