South Philadelphians will soon be able to take a bite out of some of the city’s favorite bagels without needing to travel outside of the neighborhood. The Glu Hospitality helmed Bagels & Co. is opening a new outpost in the area.
The concept, known for using high-quality ingredients to craft its distinctive bagels, will be opening at 2201 Washington Avenue. An opening date is not yet set for the new Bagels & Co. storefront, with the website saying only that the location is “coming soon”.
Glu has been working hard to spread the bakery’s delicious carbs. Bagels and Co. recently opened an Ardmore location, which joins the concept’s 6 city storefronts, as well as two Florida outposts. Glu will be opening another Florida Bagels & Co., as well as a location in Penn State.
The beloved carb concept first started serving happy customers in 2021. Bagels & Co. has an impressive menu, populated by a wide range of both traditional and unexpected flavors. Customers needn’t worry about a dry bagel; the bakery features a massive selection of cream cheeses.
