Reading Terminal Market will soon welcome its newest merchant, Chef Beth Esposito, and her artisan concept: Butcher’s Pantry. The walk-up counter-style operation will sell specialty meats, house-made spice blends and compound butters, savory side dishes, and more. Esposito is owner of Pink Garlic, a private catering company, and has been featured on, the Food Network’s “Cooks vs. Cons” and Rachel Ray. Butcher’s Pantry is opening in partnership with Rob Passio of Guinta’s Prime Meat Shop at Reading Terminal Market.
“Butcher’s Pantry is not your average butcher shop. We want to change the way you eat meat at your table. The pandemic changed how people shop and eat and I want to serve people in a way that makes sense,” said Esposito in a statement. “Food is the bridge that connects people and brings them together. I want it to offer up a little bit of everything and be a unique experience for everyone who visits.”
Butcher’s Pantry Grand Opening Press Conference and Ribbon Cutting will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Reading Terminal Market (Ave. B and 2) 1136 Arch St.
