Though Montreal Beach Resort and Harry’s Ocean Bar and Grille might be changing hands, you can still expect the same warm hospitality while overlooking the Atlantic that’s been offered over the last 56 years. Local hospitality company Madison Resorts, owned by Dan Alicea, has purchased the resort and restaurant at 1025 Beach Ave. in Cape May, with plans to keep the hotel’s iconic name and look for the immediate future.

“My wife was born and raised in Cape May County, now operating a piece of its history is a childhood dream coming true for both of us. We are humbled and honored to the Hirsch family for putting their trust in Madison Resorts, we are committed to delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring we hold the community first in our heart,” Alicea said in a press release.

Madison Resorts will fully upgrade Montreal Beach Resort’s hotel rooms and lobby and make minor improvements to the property while maintaining its identity. Harry’s Ocean Bar and Grille will add new dishes and drinks to its existing menus and offer room service under the new ownership. Madison Resorts intends to bring the fun with added entertainment and live music offerings. Most of the resort and restaurant’s long-time staff will be retained, with some new faces joining the team to continue providing optimal service.
