Anticipation is growing for Brick diners eager to embrace a rapidly growing fast-casual concept that puts a unique spin on the model. Cava is bringing its Mediterranean cuisine to the neighborhood next year, reports local media outlet Asbury Park Press.

The concept will be making its Jersey Shore debut at 1042 Cedar Bridge Avenue. Cava is taking over the 2,173 square foot storefront last occupied by Atlanta Bread. While a precise opening date is not currently available for the eatery, Cava’s upper brass is planning to begin feeding customers in the second quarter of 2025.

Future Brick regulars are in for a unique spin on fast-casual dining. Cava foregoes the traditional burgers and fries, focusing instead on Mediterranean dishes. The healthier menu features options range from salads to pitas and truly makes a memorable mark by allowing visitors to curate their own bowls, ala Chipotle or Subway.

While the Ocean County storefront will be Cava’s first at the Jersey Shore, the chain is no stranger to the Garden State. The concept currently has nine locations across Jersey, and ownership is eager to establish this new location, saying “We think Brick will be a great market for us and are excited to expand our presence in New Jersey.”
