Chief 10’s Smokehouse Transitioning from Food Truck to Brick and Mortar

The popular nomadic barbecue establishment is setting up permanent shop in Bensalem.

A fan-favorite barbecue joint is parking its food truck and preparing to open a brick-and-mortar in Bensalem. Chief 10’s Smokehouse will be opening its first storefront at the intersection of Bensalem Boulevard and New Falls Road later this year, reports local media outlet Philly Burbs.

The food truck, which opened last year, experienced immediate popularity. Chief 10’s Smokehouse announced the opening of their first restaurant via a Facebook post. The owners state that they’re hoping to open this year, saying ““We have ALOT of inside demo and work to do. We’re shooting for December but we have to see how things play out! We will continue to post updates as things progress.”

Chief 10’s specializes in slow-cooked meats, including brisket and pork. The menu also offers bowls, pulled pork sandwiches, and cheesesteaks. Additionally, Chief 10’s offers a variety of sides, including baked beans, coleslaw, and mac and cheese. Chief 10’s Smokehouse also offers a comprehensive catering menu.
