Chipotle Mexican Grill is planning a new location in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The quick-service burrito, taco, and salad joint has applied for zoning variances with the Zoning Hearing Board of Plymouth Township for 500 West Germantown Pike. There is currently a closed bank and parking lot at the site, according to More Than The Curve. QSR reports that there are more than 3,000 Chipotles currently in existence and the company is aiming to double that number.

“We, as a company, have more levers than ever before to be successful in new markets, between our digital system, the varying asset designs that we can bring to a market and then, I think, just the strength of the brand around Food with Integrity and the proposition that comes with that,” CEO BrianNiccol told Restaurant Business. “So, I’m bullish on it but it’s still early days.”
