When Bogey’s, a 6,000 sq. ft. waterfront restaurant at 2 Creek Rd. in Brooklawn, NJ, opens, it will boast a 56-seat bar and 160 seat dining room with 24 more outdoor seats overlooking the Delaware River’s Big Timber Creek. While construction on the site is underway, owner Don Bogey isn’t pinpointing an estimated opening date.

“We’re moving along, but we’re not in a hurry. We want to do everything right,” Bogey told What Now Philadelphia.

Bogey will build a 250-foot dock where boats can park and come in to enjoy pizza fresh out of a coal-fired oven, pastas, salads, soups, and other elevated pizzeria fare. There will be an indoor bar, along with elements of a “Dave and Buster’s” type atmosphere. So far, pilings have been installed on-site and concrete is in the process of being poured.

Courier Post reports that Bogey and his wife Svitlana Bogey previously operated a restaurant called Bogey’s Private Eye on the property. The new restaurant, which will be elevated to avoid flooding, will replace 3,000 sq. ft. of existing retail space and an 850 sq. ft. garage. The tattoo shop on-site will be relocated, and the swap shop will move to a different spot on the property. The auto shop will stay where it is on the property.
