Gourmet sandwich and salad shop Crumb will open two new New Jersey locations this year. Crumb announced on their Instagram page that a store would open in Bordentown in May. NJ Pen reports that Crumb will take over the space formerly inhabited by Goodbeet vegan restaurant at 1 1/2 Crosswicks St. Crumb also lists a Medford location which will open in September.
The South Jersey Food Scene reports that Chefs David Murray and Walter Gouldsbury opened their flagship Crumb location in Haddonfield at 43 Kings Highway East in the fall of 2021. Crumb sells mouthwatering sandwiches that are made from onsite freshly baked artisanal focaccia bread and mindfully sourced ingredients.
Their sandwich menu includes items like The Skouf with all-natural chicken salad, Fuji apples, rosemary, and shaved romaine on cranberry-walnut focaccia or the PRO-SHOOT with 24-month aged prosciutto di parma, fresh mozzarella, arugula, 30-year balsamic, and EVOO. Crumb also offers soups, and salads like the Regina George with organic romaine, focaccia croutons, and 24-month Parmigiano-Reggiano in a house cesear dressing or the So Fresh, So Clean with lentils, mixed greens, honey roasted carrots, pickled shallots, feta, and dill in a citrus vinegarette. Crumb also has smaller sandwich offerings for kids, weekly special sandwiches, and family meal deals with items like eggplant parmigiana that serves up to four.
