Dad’s Hat PA Rye Co-Founders Herman Mihalich and John Cooper are opening a tasting room at 131 Mill Street in Bristol, PA, just one block away from the Bristol Waterfront Park in the heart of the borough, and about a mile from Dad’s Hat’s distillery. The tasting room is on track to open May 12, 2022.

Dad’s Hat’s award-winning Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey will be featured, as well as classic and creative cocktails, craft beers, wine, ciders, and spirits from producers across the entire state of PA. Bottles of Dad’s Hat will be available to purchase, and flights of outstanding, unique whiskeys from other PA distillers will be sold, also.

“Our goal is to create the absolute highest quality cocktails available anywhere in the Delaware Valley using high quality ingredients and featuring our own whiskey expressions,” said Mihalich in a statement.

“There are more and more reasons to come to Bristol than ever, with the Bristol Riverside Theater, events at the Waterfront Park, and a bunch of great restaurants to sample – all in walking distance of each other,” added Mihalich. “We are extremely proud to be part of the renaissance in the Borough.”

Leading the team at the Mill Street Tasting Room will be Len Boris, a recent addition to the Dad’s Hat team who brings with him 14 years of hospitality experience, the last 8 years as Beverage Director for Fearless Restaurants. “This is an exciting time to be joining the team at Dad’s Hat. Our tasting room will be a welcoming place for whiskey lovers and newcomers to experience fun, enticing cocktails.”

Located at 925 Canal Street in Bristol, PA, the Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey distillery, owned and operated by Mountain Laurel Spirits LLC, carries on a Pennsylvania tradition of whiskey production dating back to the early 1800s.
