Calling all meat lovers and dining enthusiasts!

Fogo de Chão, the immersive Brazilian steakhouse, will open a new location on the second level of Freehold Raceway Mall, according to the mall’s website.

It will join other notable eateries at the mall, including The Cheesecake Factory, Dave & Buster’s and Kura Revolving Sushi Bar.

The Freehold restaurant will expand New Jersey’s growing lineup of Fogo de Chão locations, alongside existing restaurants in Paramus, Wayne and Bridgewater, with upcoming locations planned for Princeton and Cherry Hill.

The steakhouse will feature the brand’s signature design, including a view of the open churrasco grill, where guests can watch gaucho chefs hand-carve and grill meats.

Fogo de Chão is known for its prix fixe churrasco experience, offering a wide selection of meats, including sirloin, filet mignon, ribeye, wagyu, chicken, lamb and pork. Guests can also enjoy the Market Table, featuring seasonal salads, smoked salmon, charcuterie, antipasti and fresh superfoods.

Servers circulate the dining room with a variety of meats, and when a guest’s card is flipped to green, it signals they’re ready to be served. When the card is red, servers pass the table until the next round.

The interactive restaurant began 46 years ago as a celebrated eatery in Brazil and opened its first U.S. location in Dallas in 1997 after gaining international acclaim. The chain now operates over 100 locations, both in the U.S. and internationally.

Fogo de Chão has not yet announced an official opening date for the new location, but the mall’s website says it is “Coming soon!”
