Greens and Grains, the homegrown plant-based restaurant and juicer, is gearing up to open its sixth outpost at 1120 White Horse Rd in Voorhees Township around February 2023, according to owner Nicole Jacoby.
”We chose Voorhees because Camden and Burlington county areas, and Voorhees in particular, has been one of the most requested towns since we opened our first brick-and-mortar in 2015,” Jacoby tells What Now Philadelphia. “And this is just one step in our plans for expansion. We have another location opening in Monmouth County, and then we have a food truck, and we’re scaling up to open another 10 to 15 locations in the next three to five years.”
News of the Voorhess expansion was first reported this past Sunday, Nov 6, by local media outlet 42 Freeway.
Greens and Grains was ostensibly started as a side hustle by Jacoby, who would sell homemade juices out of her in-law’s Greek restaurant. Today, those juices have turned into a staple of the company’s brand identity, as it goes a step beyond merely serving meals, offering multi-day juice cleanse packs at each of its restaurants.
Meanwhile, the menu – which varies slightly from one location to the next – bears influence from the owners’ Greek restaurant roots with wraps, bowls, paninis, salads, sandwiches, and pitas.
Moreover, Jacoby is also in the process of launching the Atlantic City Food Project, which aims to make healthy eating more accessible through various family-focused events, cooking classes, a vegan meal-prep delivery service, and youth training programs.
