A rising star of the New Jersey hospitality scene is preparing to add another feather to its culinary hat. The Jersey Shore Restaurant Group will be debuting its latest concept-a Mexican restaurant called Red Agave- in Monroe later this year.

The latest from the team that introduced Coastal Canteen, Harpoon Willy’s, and Half Moon Point to the Garden State promises to bring “an atmosphere that turns every visit into a celebration” to its new home at 211 Applegarth Road. While it is not yet known what precise date Jersey diners can look forward to sampling Red Agave’s chef-driven menu, a social media post from the Jersey Shore Restaurant Group does state the eatery should be open at some point in June.

The Red Agave website assures future regulars that they can anticipate a menu packed with authentic Mexican dishes, ranging from tacos to fire-roasted elotes, alongside fan favorites like table-side guac. The over 21 crowd will be able to select from an extensive and carefully vetted array of tequilas and mezcals.

Red Agave will be open from 11:30 am to 12 am, Monday through Thursday, and from 11:30 am to 1 am on Friday and Saturday.
