Insomnia Cookies Preparing to Rouse Glassboro Diners

Construction is set to begin on the bakery in January.

A popular and expanding cookie chain is preparing to be full speed ahead and chips ahoy for the Glassboro dining scene. Insomnia Cookies, the beloved Philly-based concept, is working on a new South Jersey location, reports popular local media outlet 42Freeway.

The bakery is still in the early stages of development; however official documentation suggests that construction will begin on the 310 Rowan Boulevard site in January of 2025. Insomnia will be moving into the first floor of the Whitney Center Building, between Oishii Ramen and Yogo Factory.

Founded in 2003 by University of Pennsylvania student Seth Berkowticz, Insomnia Cookies has become a Philadelphia metropolitan area institution. The concept has built an ardent and vehement fan following thanks to its freshly made, delicious cookies.The chain has expanded to include over 265 storefronts across the United States. 

In addition to 17 varieties of delectable cookies in traditional and unique flavors, Insomnia’s menu features cookie sandwiches, ice cream, brownies, and cakes.
