Jersey Mike’s is making its way to Lawrence Township this fall. Local media outlet WPST reports that the popular chain will be opening its first restaurant in the neighborhood this September.
Jersey Mike’s will be opening at the Lawrence Shopping Center, located at 2495 Brunswick Pike, this autumn. The storefront will be the first to hit the Lawrence dining scene. The eatery will be the immediate neighbor of Limoncello’s Italian Grill.
The restaurant is currently undergoing the permitting process. Tom Hayes, Jersey Mike’s area director, assures hoagie enthusiasts that they can fulfill their cravings for Jersey Mike’s great, deli fresh sandwiches by mid to late September.
Jersey Mike’s has been a formidable presence in the sandwich scene since 1956. Since its humble origins in New Jersey, the chain has expanded to include more than 2,000 locations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Jersey Mike’s specializes in made-to-order submarine sandwiches. The restaurant also offers breakfast sandwiches, and often features pork roll.
