Libertee Grounds, an indoor mini golf complex, is expanding its North Philadelphia home. The facility will begin construction to absorb the next door retail space in a couple of months allowing for a fall opening, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Libertee Grounds is located at 1600 West Girard Avenue. Priyank Rambhia,Kanay Patel, and Sanil Shah opened the combined mini golf course, restaurant, and bar in early 2021.

Once completed, the expansion will add 4,000 square feet to Libertee Ground’s current location. The complex’s renovated area will total 12,500 square feet, allowing Libertee Grounds to accommodate 600 guests versus the current 350 capacity.

Rambhia explained the expansion, stating “We just saw that with the amount of success we’ve seen with our current business and with the competition coming in, doubling down and really getting our footing and our roots down into our current location was really important to us.”

In addition to a nine-hole mini golf course, Libertee Grounds’ current space houses a restaurant, beer garden, and bar. The eatery serves pan-Asian bar food as well as local beers and cocktails.

The new space will contain a golf simulator, nine more mini golf holes, a private event space, and a eight-tap bar.

Libertee Grounds will remain open during the expansion.
