Operating partners Brian Corcodilos and Jared Bilsak will be bringing a new haunt to Manayunk this October with The Haunting of Lincoln Mill. Set in the old Mad River Bar and Grille space, at 4100 Main Street, they will do a custom build for the haunt, hire scare actors, and co-founder Brian Corcodilos told What Now Philadelphia via phone that New Ridge Brewing will be there to provide thirsty patrons with a beer after being scared in the haunt. There will also be a rotating group of food trucks available for patrons who become hungry after escaping the Mill.

Their press release has this to say about the haunt, “The Haunting of Lincoln Mill intends to open a seasonal haunted house event on the first floor of 4100 Main Street in October 2022. The attraction will be in operation for a total of 15 days from October to early November. Starting Thursday, October 6th, the attraction will be open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 12 a.m. until Saturday, November 5th.”

The press release goes on to say that the experience will last 15 minutes and there will be security as well as event staff on site. The maze will have temporary fire-rated partitions and the maze will be decorated with a variety of props, animatronics, set pieces, and special effects.

Additionally, during the day on Saturdays, the attraction will open for a “non-scary lights-on tour for families” from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Families can tour the maze and its sets and enjoy a scavenger hunt experience. Haunt staff will be handing out candy inside. Part of the haunt’s proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Their press release notes that “We have the full support of community businesses as well as the Manayunk Development Corporation.”
