Looking for a sophisticated night out in Philadelphia? Well, pull out your best black cocktail dress or crispest pocket square, because a trio of Philly’s most reliable hospitality professionals are bringing a brand-new cocktail concept to the city. Heather Annechiarico, Chris Fetfatzes, and Susan Freeman  are launching a fresh and elegant watering hole called Liquorette later this year, reports Foobooz.

The “high-end, technique-driven cocktail bar that’s inspired by luxury European cocktail bars” will be setting up its bottles at  1534 Sansom Street. The Rittenhouse Square building will be housing the reinvigorated WineDive, and Liquorette will occupy the upstairs space.

The cocktail bar’s opening timeline remains a bit nebulous; while Annechiarico, Fetfatzes, and Freeman intend to debut the concept this year, they are prioritizing relaunching WineDive (set to begin greeting guests in mid-summer) and opening Liquorette once the other establishment settles into a comfortable groove.

While Liquorette promises Philly residents a sophisticated night out, Annechiarico, Fetfatzes, and Freeman very much want the bar to be accessible to the community at large. Fetfatzes previously described the vision for the space to the Philadelphia Inquirer as: “a blend of natural light design elements, creating a sophisticated yet approachable ambience, offering a relaxed atmosphere that’s high on simplicity and low on fuss.”
