Philadelphia’s first Chicken Guy!, a quick-service franchise by Guy Fieri and Robert Earl, will be owned and operated by Kevin ‘Steek’ Cooper, the winner of Fieri’s show “Guy’s Chance of a Lifetime.” 6abc reports that Cooper is a North Philly native and Army veteran. He is also a valedictorian of NJA Institute of Culinary Arts in South Philly, runs Succulent Imagination catering company, has published a cookbook, and has a wine label.

Cooper expects to open his Chicken Guy! somewhere in the Philadelphia area in the summer, though a location has yet to be secured. Chicken Guy! serves crispy and grilled all-natural tenders smothered in a choice of over 20 sauces or served in signature sandwiches and salad bowls. There are currently about seven Chicken Guy! locations.
