Honeygrow, the “Philly-born, fast-casual eatery serving premium made-to-order stir-fry, salads, and honeybars” will be opening three new locations in the coming months in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, reps for the chain confirmed with What Now Philadelphia this week.
The chain is opening new restaurants in Hamilton, New Jersey at 205 Marketplace Boulevard, in Quakertown, Pennsylvania at 69 North West End Boulevard, and in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania at 151 N. York Road. Their website states that the restaurants are “coming soon”, so there isn’t a specific timeline for all of the openings as yet, but their Instagram page says that the Hamilton, New Jersey and Willow Grove, Pennsylvania locations should be opening this summer.
Honeygrow was founded in 2012 and its concept is described as “serving farm-to-fork stir-fry, salads, and our signature honeybar,” on its Facebook page. 2022 is the tenth anniversary for honeygrow and they already have 26 locations in the mid-Atlantic area.
For the uninitiated, the honeybar is where you can “Create your honeybar dessert using fresh fruit, a garnish and a honey of your choice” and the garnishes are coconut shavings, milk chocolate chips, granola and other toppings.
The chain does have an emphasis on healthy meals and offers customers with dietary concerns or vegan and vegetarian diets a “Lifestyle Menu” that has “Paleo-friendly, Keto-friendly, Whole-friendly, High Protein, Vegan + Vegetarian menu offerings.” honeygrow hasn’t forgotten about traditional flavors either and an example of that is the restaurant’s newest seasonal offering which is a garlic butter chicken stir fry with noodles and chili crisps.
