Few dining institutions have had a more auspicious or more ambitious year in the Philadelphia-region than Wonder. The unusual food hall concept has been establishing a powerful presence in the region and has set its sights on a new Philly home, this time at the Roosevelt Mall, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The rapidly growing concept will be joining a slew of other eateries at its new 2327 Cottman Avenue. Wonder will be a neighbor to Dunkin’, Panda Express, and Chipotle when it opens this spring. While being surrounded by fast-casual restaurants may seem like a challenge for a new entity in the area, Wonder’s unusual model is certain to help it stand apart.

Wonder has already established itself as a power-player in the Northeastern dining scene by partnering with high-profile chefs including Bobby Flay and José Andrés. The food hall contains multiple concepts under one roof, and invites diners to order from as many different restaurants as they’d like, all under the umbrella of one transaction. Every meal is made-to-order.

Northeast Philly fans eager to enjoy the Wonder experience should mark their calendars for April of this year, when the concept will open its doors to the public.
