A popular pub has big expansion plans for the Philadelphia area. P.J. Whelihan’s, the beloved chain of sports bars, is eyeing new locations in the Greater Delaware Valley, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The PJW Restaurant Group-the hospitality group behind the chain-has not yet disclosed the specific addresses of the new locations because leases have not yet been signed. The company aims to begin opening two to three P.J. Whelihan’s locations annually, states new CEO Jessica Breslow.

Breslow hopes to keep the concept close to its geographic roots. She states: “We’re focused on really the Greater Delaware Valley and not getting too far out from where we exist today, because I think there’s a lot of whitespace for us to explore.”

Founded in 1983, P.J. Whelihan’s currently has 24 locations in operation. The restaurant strives to create the ultimate sports bar experience. Each eatery has ample televisions available for guests to enjoy the game and features a menu of pub favorites, ranging from smash burgers to chicken wings.
