Quakertown residents looking for something fast and nutritious will soon be able to enjoy made-to-order stir-fry, salads, and desserts. Honeygrow, a fast-casual chain that started in Philadelphia in 2012, is planning to open a new location in Quakertown this spring. Honeygrow will open in an estimated 2,500 sq. ft. space in the Quakertown Plaza next to Chipotle at 69 N. West End Blvd.
“Our product is really unique because it’s crave-able and you can be healthy with it. We offer a creative take on food that really resonates with folks,” Honeygrow Founder and CEO Justin Rosenberg told What Now Philadelphia. “I think it’s [Quakertown] a great market that’s underserved for what we do. We’re just excited to get there.”
The Quakertown Honeygrow will seat about 55 indoors and have additional outdoor seating. Ordering takeout is a breeze with the company’s new app that offers curbside pickup and lets you describe your car and alert employees when you’re in the parking lot to pick up your order. Honeygrow allows you to build your own or order signature stir fry dishes and salads. Honeygrow’s honeybar allows you to create your own fruit bowl that you garnish with toppings like granola then drizzle with honey. Signature bowls from the honeybar are topped with whipped cream and other delicious ingredients. Honeygrow also has a kid’s menu and catering options.
The company, which sources ingredients locally and seasonally when possible, currently has 26 locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Massachusetts. When asked if the company has plans to open more locations in the Greater Philadelphia Area, Rosenberg said Honeygrow has “a lot” but couldn’t offer details at this time.
