The Philly chicken scene is about to get a little hotter. The Integritty Group is opening a new Dave’s Hot Chicken location in the City of Brotherly Love later this year, according to local media site WFMZ.
The hospitality group will be opening its second city location at 1731 Chestnut Street. Dave’s Hot Chicken will be revitalizing the space vacated by South Moon Under boutique. While an official opening date is not yet available for the eatery, after a great deal of permitting delays the restaurant will be opening in the first quarter of 2025, according to the Integritty website.
Integritty has already successfully introduced Philadelphia to one of the country’s fastest growing hot chicken concepts when it opened a Dave’s location at 9113 Roosevelt Boulevard.
Dave’s sprang into the fast-casual chicken dining scene in 2017 in Los Angeles, California. The chain specializes in Nashville-style hot chicken. Dave’s keeps its menu short but sweet; the eatery offers chicken tenders or sliders, with optional sides of fries. Vegetarians can enjoy cauliflower interpretations of both main selections.
Though a relative stranger to the Philly market, Dave’s has spread to 200 locations worldwide, with massive growth on the horizon.
