Toms River residents will celebrate the start of 2024 with a brand new pizza establishment. Pies on 37 is coming to the Orchards at Dover in January, reports local media outlet Asbury Park Press.

The pizza restaurant, owned by Ricky and Brandi Digiovanna, will be opening at 1311 Route 37 West, after extensive renovations take place. Pies on 37 is taking over the space formerly occupied by Joey D’s Pizza, and the Digiovannas plan to greatly alter the location. Brandi states “We’re completely gutting (the Toms River restaurant) to make it look like the other Pies on Nine.”

Pies on 37 will be the Digiovanna’s third pizza restaurant. The couple currently runs Pies on 9 in Beachwood and Pies on 9 South in Lacey.

The Digiovannas anticipate benefiting greatly from the shopping establishment’s foot traffic. The pair intend to take advantage of this boon by offering more sliced pies than their current eateries provide. Beyond this slight alteration, the menus will be identical.

In addition to gourmet pizzas like shrimp scampi and sweet chili chicken, Pies on 37 will serve wraps, cheesesteaks, burgers, and an array of entrees ranging from chicken parmigiana to shrimp marinara.
