A Philadelphia coffee shop is brewing up its next location in Manayunk.
ReAnimator Coffee, run by Mark Capriotti and Mark Corpus, is set to open at 4226 Main St. on the first floor commercial space, according to business filings.
The shop currently operates locations in Fishtown, South Kensington, South Philly, West Philly and Port Richmond, as well as its recently opened Mt. Airy location.
“We are constantly amazed and impressed by the complex interactions that coffee creates in our brains and our society, the connections it forges, and the creativity that it inspires,” the website reads.
ReAnimator emphasizes both the quality and ethical sourcing of its coffee, ensuring every cup and bag is freshly roasted and responsibly produced.
They offer an array of single-origin, light-roast beans, including Guatemala Finca La Bolsa, Mexico Angel Albino Corzo, Honduras Finca El Jardin and Colombia Desvelado Decaf, alongside blends such as the Keystone Blend, All Day Medium Roast and Foundation Blend.
The menu features classic coffees and espresso drinks, along with tea and baked goods. A new drink offering is the Coconut Guava Matcha, made with house-made guava syrup featuring real guava juice, guava puree and guava preserves. The drink combines the syrup with coconut water and matcha, finished with a dusting of Tajín.
Beyond the brews, ReAnimator offers merchandise like sweatshirts, hats, mugs, and even collectible matchboxes.
Want to brew at home? Their website features a brewing guide, where visitors can click through an animated, step-by-step process for using an auto-drip machine, AeroPress, pour-over, French press, Hario switch or espresso machine.
An official opening date has not yet been announced, but signage captured by Whatnow Philadelphia reads, “Coming soon.” Visit the website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
