Some of Philadelphia’s brightest hospitality stars are preparing to throw the doors of their latest restaurant wide open. Rooster’s Glenside, a project from Justin Weathers, Matt Moyer, Chris Magarity, and Joe Monnich, will begin feeding the region this fall, reports The Philadelphia Inquirer.
The restaurant will provide Glenside with a classic American pub experience once it opens for service at 294 North Keswick Avenue. The crew behind Rooster’s anticipates an October debut, though a grand opening date has not yet been announced.
Rooster’s Glenside has a dedicated 3,000 square feet of space to greet and serve guests. The restaurant can accommodate up to 90 patrons in the interior dining room, with an additional 40 seats at the bar. Fans of al fresco dining can enjoy one of the concept’s 44 outdoor seats.
Guests can look forward to delicious interpretations of classic pub fare, painstakingly crafted by Chef Monnich and his kitchen team. Anticipate dishes ranging from the familiar, like fried chicken, to the slightly more unexpected, such as the braised beef and smoked gouda dip on sour dough sandwich.
Rooster’s will be a family-friendly establishment, with ample entertainment for all ages. In addition to a live music program, the restaurant will feature plenty of televisions for sports fanatics to get their fixes.
