Fearless Restaurants, a dining collective featuring seven brands, is preparing to open a second Rosalie location in Glen Mills. The Italian eatery will open at 919 Baltimore Pike, a spot formerly occupied by Ruby’s Diner, by the end of 2023, according to media outlet Mainline Today.
Speaking to What Now Philadelphia, Fearless Restaurants’ business developer, Sydney Grims, describes Rosalie’s expansion to Glen Mills as a natural next step. The new restaurant will sit across from another Fearless Restaurant, the fan-favorite White Dog.
Fearless Restaurants always planned to broaden Rosalie’s reach. Grims states “We have an incredibly talented chef, Merick Devine, and our intention was always to have multiple locations. Ideally, wherever we have a White Dog, we’ll have a Rosalie.”
Grims and Fearless Restaurants look forward to providing a quality Italian option to Glen Mills, observing that it’s “an underserved market with a lot of traffic. We have a good relationship with the landlord, so moving into the space where Ruby’s used to be was a natural progression.”
Rosalie’s second location will be formatted similarly to its flagship. However, the menu will undergo slight alterations. Grim describes the new Rosalie menu as similar but more casual than Rosalie’s current offerings.
Fearless Restaurants anticipate the new Rosalie opening by the end of 2023. The restaurateurs are currently awaiting permits for the new location.
The original Rosalie is located in the Wayne Hotel and offers a wide array of Italian cuisine. The menu includes vegetarian options, as well as an impressive cocktail list and weekend brunch.
