After years of anticipation, South Philly’s long wait for its very own Raising Cane’s is almost over. The hugely successful chicken chain will be opening its latest City of Brotherly Love location in a newly erected shopping center, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Raising Cane’s-complete with drive-thru access for customers in a hurry-will begin greeting customers at 16 Snyder Avenue next year. The 3,300 square foot restaurant will be one of several companies populating the new retail mecca. Shake Shack, Lidl, Chase Bank, and Advanced Auto Parts are joining Raising Cane on the lot that housed an industrial site in a past life.
A precise opening date is not currently available, but Raising Cane’s anticipates greeting guests in 2025.
Raising Cane’s is no stranger to Philadelphia; the chain currently has three open city locations-one on Walnut Street, another on Island Avenue, and the last on North 12th Street. A fourth is slated to open at the Roosevelt Mall in September.
