A Philadelphia favorite bakery is getting a second location just in time for fall. Tara Torrence will be opening a new The Biscuit Lady storefront in Plymouth Meeting, reports local media outlet More than the Curve.

Torrance is aiming to open her latest endeavor at 115 Plymouth Road in October, a space formerly occupied by Bryn & Dane’s.

The Biscuit Lady is currently open at its original location at 5154 Ridge Avenue in Roxborough. Torrance, a Plymouth Meeting resident, sought out a larger area for her latest bakery. This new, more expansive space will allow her to expand both her hours of operation and the menu.

The facility will also provide indoor and outdoor seating for customers hoping to enjoy their treats on site.

As the name suggests, The Biscuit Lady focuses on freshly-made biscuits and jams. The bakery prepares the inventory daily. Torrance offers an array of breakfast sandwiches prepared on her biscuits. The new location will also offer a fried chicken sandwich and a wide range of caffeinated drinks and and juices.

The Plymouth Meeting The Biscuit Lady will launch with morning and early afternoon hours. The preliminary schedule will be Tuesday through Sunday from 7:30 am to 2 pm.
