Atlantic City is getting a little hotter this summer, thanks to a new dining experience from a seasoned hospitality vet. Stephen Starr, an undisputed king-maker of the restaurant world, is bringing a fresh concept to the neighborhood later this year, reports Philly publication Foobooz.

Starr is teaming up with Ocean Casino Resort to launch his latest endeavor. The restaurant, set to open as part of the 500 Boardwalk entertainment venue, does not yet have a name, nor is an abundance of details available. A casino representative describes it only as a “steak frites concept”.

While that tantalizing bit of information may not seem to offer much intelligence as to what diners can expect, the dish gives future visitors reason to be optimistic. Starr has ample experience with steak frites, a dish he’s perfected at Parc, his beloved Rittenhouse Square restaurant.

A precise opening date is not yet available, however the eatery is set to open this summer. Starr is looking forward to returning to Atlantic City, one of his childhood stomping grounds, providing this insight in a statement: ““I’m excited to work with the team at Ocean Casino Resort to develop two new dining concepts this summer.”
