The ever-so Instagrammable Sugar Factory American Brasserie will open its second New Jersey location. Known for its celebrity sightings, rainbow-colored burgers, and over-the-top photo-friendly milkshakes, Sugar Factory will open in Towne Place at Garden State Park, 999 Haddonfield Rd., at the former Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar, which closed in March 2020 after indoor dining was banned to flatten the COVID-19 curve. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the Cherry Hill Sugar Factory will open in late spring 2022.
“We are excited to introduce our high-energy, sweet restaurant and brand to the residents of Cherry Hill, New Jersey,” Sugar Factory Partner Larry Rudolph told Courier Post. “From our colorful and vibrant dishes to our over-the-top desserts, every moment at Sugar Factory Cherry Hill will offer guests a memorable and Instagrammable experience from the minute they walk in, to the minute they leave.”
Sugar Factories vary in design, but Cherry Hill’s location will have a Willy Wonka-esque look to it, complete with neon signs, a floor-to-ceiling candy wall, a floral wall, and a rainbow-colored candy heart wall for even more photo-ops. It is one of 15 opening soon, including their first Philadelphia location, which will open on Dec. 1 with DJ Pauly D of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” spinning on site. There is also a Sugar Factory in Atlantic City’s Hard Rock. Sugar Factory is also putting together a fast-casual and drive-thru operation.
At Sugar Factory, you’ll find extra tall candy-coated mugs filled with thick extravagant milkshakes topped with doughnuts, giant cocktails puffing with smoke, and crave-able burgers, like their Hot Cheetos burger on a Hot Cheetos-crusted bun topped with more Hot Cheetos. Their King Kong sundae is also a show stopper at $99 with 24 scoops of ice cream, sprinkles, an entire can of whip cream, walnuts, M&Ms, four waffle cones, gummy bears, caramel and fudge sauces, oversized lollipops, doughnuts, lit sparklers, and more.
