After years of morning supremacy, “rise and shine” is being replaced in Harrisburg with the next great way to say “good morning”. Wake and Bake Cafe, the latest concept from local baker Elle Daniels, is opening later this summer, reports Local 21 News.

The eatery will be helping customers greet the day in a spacious  240 North 3rd Street storefront. Wake and Bake Cafe will be able to accommodate up to 14 patrons inside and an additional 4 outside.

Daniels tells What Now Philadelphia that an opening date is not yet available. “Once we have our espresso machine secured, we will have a better timeline!” she states, adding that she is hoping to open by mid-to-late June.

Wake and Bake will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers to enjoy their scratch-made treats and caffeine fixes. Locals will be able to stop in for a snack and a drink Wednesdays through Saturdays, from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Daniels is eager to bring something fresh and new to the local community. She states: “I have a lot of faith in downtown Harrisburg. We have a good vision for it. I built some good rapport in Harrisburg city with my business being here for a while, so I think it’s going to be good.”
