The dining industry’s latest golden child has plans for yet another Philly location, this one in the city proper. Wonder, the food hall concept making massive culinary waves, will be opening a location on Chestnut Street later this year, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The concept, which allows customers to order from multiple restaurants on one tab, is setting up shop at 1600 Chestnut Street, in the Pearl Apartments building. A precise opening timeline is not available for the location, however it is one of several that Wonder intends to open before the end of 2025.
Wonder made its auspicious dining scene entrance in 2018, the brainchild of entrepreneur Marc Lore. The food hall serves up what it refers to as “fast fine dining” with assists from its high-profile partners.
Wonder works with acclaimed chefs like Bobby Flay and José Andrés to recreate their signature dishes, allowing the eatery to make each meal to-order in house. Offering delivery, take-out, and dine-in options, the establishment invites visitors to order from as many different concepts as they like, all prepared under one roof and paid for on one tab.
