A hospitality powerhouse is preparing to feed and delight Fishtown foodies. Wonder, known for its distinctive approach to the food hall model, is preparing to enter the Philadelphia market, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The unusual concept will be located on the ground floor of 23 West Girard Avenue. The food hall is set to occupy 3,079 square feet. While an opening timeline is not currently available, a Wonder spokesperson confirmed that the company plans to enter the City of Brotherly Love in 2025, saying “We look forward to joining the Philly dining scene, offering access to world-renowned chefs and some of the most popular restaurants from across the country.”
Wonder was founded in 2018 and quickly set itself apart in the busy hospitality world by offering customers the chance to order from a variety of locations at one time. Referring to itself as “fast fine dining”, Wonder allows guests to pick-up or have their food delivered, with some locations also providing seating.
Wonder has proven itself to be a formidable contender in the dining scene. It recently purchased Grubhub and has 35 East Coast locations.
