Dollar Tree has chosen Egg Harbor Township, NJ, for one of their latest locations. The new dollar store is expected to open in English Creek Shopping Center at 3003 English Creek Ave. sometime this summer. WPG Talk Radio reports that the Dollar Tree will open in the former English Creek Academy daycare, where construction appears to be underway.
The new Dollar Tree will be added to Egg Harbor Township’s six existing dollar stores in the area. Dollar Tree dates back to 1953 when it was a store called K&K Toys. It morphed over the years to become Dollar Tree, which also owns Family Dollar. Dollar Tree announced in 2021 that they will start selling additional merchandise at $3 and $5 price points.
