Wayfair, the large-format home goods retailer known as “the destination for all things home,” plans to open a Princeton store next year.
The 135,000-square-foot store will open at Nassau Park Pavilion, serving customers across New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
The shopping center, home to a mix of national retailers, is owned and operated by Bridge33 Capital. The company’s executive vice president of real estate operations and strategy said the team is “proud” to partner with Wayfair.
“Bringing their immersive, large-format experience to the center reflects our commitment to curating a best-in-class retail destination, and we look forward to the energy this flagship store will bring to the Princeton community,” Carmen Decker said in a statement.
The Wayfair store offers a hands-on shopping experience with furniture, décor, housewares and appliances, including a curated selection of Wayfair Verified products. Customers can take select items home the same day, while larger purchases are available for fast home delivery.
Free design services are also available for projects of any size.
Wayfair’s vice president of merchandising and stores echoed the excitement, calling the Princeton location “an exciting milestone” as the company continues expanding its U.S. retail presence.
“We’re creating a destination where customers can explore inspiring spaces, experience the quality and breadth of our assortment firsthand, and seamlessly shop across online and in-store channels with the convenience and flexibility they expect from Wayfair,” Liza Lefkowski said in a statement.
The Princeton store expands Wayfair’s growing brick-and-mortar presence, joining locations in Wilmette, Ill.; Atlanta; and Columbus, Ohio. The company also plans to open stores in Denver; Westchester, N.Y.; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Cincinnati.
