Hudson House is heading to PV, Red Development’s mixed-use redevelopment of the former Paradise Valley Mall site at 4568 E. Cactus Road, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.
The announcement comes months after What Now Phoenix reported on Hudson House’s planned arrival at Heritage Park in downtown Gilbert. The company has now confirmed a second Arizona location at PV, with both restaurants expected to open in 2027.
Founded by restaurateur and CEO Hunter Pond, Hudson House is one of several concepts operated by Dallas-based Vandelay Hospitality, a hospitality group that has built a portfolio of restaurant brands across Texas since 2012.
The neighborhood restaurant and raw bar debuted in 2017 and has since expanded throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Houston.
Inspired by New York’s West Village and the dining traditions of the Hudson Valley, Hudson House has built a following around its East Coast seafood offerings, raw bar, and signature cocktails.
The menu features oysters, shrimp cocktail, tuna tartare, lobster rolls, fish tacos, chicken parmesan, steak frites, chopped salads, and the restaurant’s well-known cheeseburger.
Hudson House will join a growing roster of restaurants and retailers helping transform the former mall site into one of Phoenix’s most active dining and entertainment hubs.
PV is a $2 billion mixed-use destination transforming the former Paradise Valley Mall property into a walkable district featuring retail, restaurants, entertainment, offices, residential space, and public gathering areas.
